Crème Brûlée

If we are connected through Instagram you may have noticed I cut down and off some things in my daily nutrition. It started with some health issues some weeks ago. I had stomachache, felt sluggish and was in a bad mood all the time. I guess it was caused by stress I had at that time and you maybe know my stomach is my weak point. But when it became a little calmer I still didn’t feel very good. So I started to cut down my intake of refinded sugar and dairy products, which I have never tolerated very well, especially in great quantity. That’s really hard for me, because I love butter, cream, yogurt and cheese. So if you cut these things you eat less cakes and bread automaticly. And because I felt so much better without eating wheat, I cut off all grains, which contain gluten. What started as a trial becomes more and more a fixed part in my life, because I have a better well-being since that dietary change. But for …

Well, I don’t want to excuse myself for being absent for such a long time again, because I think you certainly become tired of hearing that from me every second month 😉 Yes, there are always some weeks in year when I am super busy and on the road almost every weekend, so you can probably imagine there is no time for blogging. In addition I want to be honest, there was also a time I was fighting with some health issues and I was simply tired of being active on social media. And because I just blog for fun and not for living I just take my time to find my motivation and pleasure for all that stuff again. Today I am finally back for posting this long time ago promised recipe for gluten, dairy and refined sugar free coconut pancakes.

I can’t believe the time has come when we put on our cosy socks and eat warming and hearty food instead of light salads with a cooling glass of white wine on the balcony. But when I look out of my window, I just see a grey and dark sky, so I had to admit to myself sadly that fall has come, even almost punctually on september 1th. But I still have hope september will bring us some late summery days though. Until then I eat summer in form of tomatoes, which taste best in summer and develope their full sweetness and flavour by roasting, combined with risotto, what is for me one of the most comforting dishes (but precious at the …

I don’t know exactly why, but it seems to me that we appriciate periods of free time more since we have a little daughter. And I think “how time flies quickly…” is one of the most thought, spoken and heard sentence in my current life. And while my husband and I don’t know whether some events happened in 2014 or 2015, because one or two years mean almost nothing to us, there are so many developments for my daughter in the last 2 years. We view some of her photos just this morning and we had to laugh about her lovely cute babyface and also some funny scences but we also had to sigh. Indeed time flies quickly, too quickly. Hubby became one year older again only a few weeks ago and I just realize it’s the very firts birthday of my blog today. Can you believe it’s exactly one year ago when I published my first post?
